Govt. college, Nagda was established on 14 november 1984. Nagda is an important industrial and commercial center of ujjain district of madhya pradesh, which is situated on the banks of the chambal river. nagda city has a population of about 125000. nagda junction is an important railway junction located between the delhi-mumbai rail routes. the college has its own huge building and campus, in which study rooms, laboratories of various subjects, library buildings and sports grounds are built. the college is run under the department of higher education, government of madhya pradesh and has affiliation with vikram university, ujjain. the college is registered by the university grant commission (ugc) new delhi under 12b & 2f.
